Wikipedia over the next decade

Wikipedia is probably one of the top used sites on the internet. It will probably become more accurate and helpful over the years. People will keep adding editing pages to make them as informative as possible.

Wikipedia will try and make bots perhaps that try to check if the information posted was true or useful. They will probably try and make the editing filter more strict, so it is more accurate. They will probably make it more aesthetically pleasing to look at too.

Tech over life skills

Kids today are more tech savvy than we give them credit for. Doing a google search has not replaced knowing how to ride a bike or baking a pancake. Since you need to know how to live after you move out, you should learn how to cook instead of eating unhealthy boxxed or canned stuff.

Life skills are still needed in todays society since we do not have replicators that can make found out of the air. I think that both life skills and tech skills are needed, but life skills mainly, since once you move out, you have to do everything yourself.

Top 10 timewasters

I thought that it was suprising that the top time waster on the internet was social networking. Mainly becuase, I hardly go on social networking sites. I thought it was also suprising how much time people spent playing World of Warcraft. 407 million hours is a lot of time spent to be playing a game.

I spend most of my time playing internet games, but I don't spend all of it on that. People should do something other than play games and go on social networking sites. They both aren't very good for you psychologically.
